November: Warrior

November 2016 Word of Inspiration

Dear Daughter of Day,

There has been significant disturbance and turmoil in the earth realm so far in this month of November. Division between political parties, races and denominations are in the forefront. As you look for answers, I sense that during this month God has a question for you. “Are you going to be a Prayer Warrior or Worrier?”

God is calling us to pray with diligence but not to worry about how He is going to answer our prayers. The Word of God says in Philippians 4:16, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Once we present our petitions we should then focus on being thankful that we serve a God who is fully aware of every situation that we are concerned about and who hears our prayers. Our “Amen” at the end of our prayer signifies that we are in agreement with God and trust that He has not only our best interest at heart but that He is working all things together for our good.

When we see rough times occurring or approaching we are called to stand as an obedient Prayer Warrior and not a Prayer Worrier. When we pray with a listening heart we will know how to war for our personal lives, the government, our neighbors, etc. We can turn our worries into prayer statements and decrees. Decree that your financial future is secure. Decree that your neighborhood is living in harmony and in good will towards one another.  Declare the opposite of what you are worried about and believe that God hears you.

This does not mean that things will not get difficult but it means that God trusts us to stand with Him in prayer as a warrior who will not spin our wheels in worry but move forward as a strong and courageous daughter. We must trust that God is working behind the scenes. We must see in faith and stand on the fact that God said that He would never leave us or forsake us.

November is a time to polish your sword in the Spirit and use the Word of God as your weapon to cut through the difficult moments, the days of darkness, the depression or worry you may feel and get to the other side, prepared for the victories ahead. Pray, Warrior, Pray!
